Twofold Rotation Axis in C6H6
Point to the benzene ring using your mouse and click on it as before. Each time that you do so the operation of twofold symmetry will be applied to the molecule and you will see that the hydrogen atom coloured in blue rotates by 180°. Note that there is no sense to the rotation since anticlockwise and clockwise are equivalent in this case.
