Application Procedure
Once you have read the course details and technical requirements and decided to pursue your application with the School, you need to fill in a school technical information form and a college application form, which are both required. The forms may be completed in either order, but we suggest that the technical form is completed first.
As the course will begin in late October you should be thinking of registering as soon as possible to ensure that you get a place on the course. Enrolment must be completed by 29th November 2002. Some useful dates are given below.
School Technical Information Form
Technical Information
As the Advanced Certificate is taught almost entirely over the Internet we will need further information from you about your technical experience and equipment. For this purpose you should fill in the on-line technical information form, which will be handled by the course administrator. You should receive an immediate electronic acknowledgement that your form has been received. If you are having problems using this form, please e-mail the school course administrator, Ms Maureen Austin.

Technical requirements for the course are given in the course details.
Application
Once you have read the course details and completed the technical information form, the next step to pursue your application for a place on the course is to complete the college electronic application form, which will be handled by the Registry at Birkbeck College in the first instance. The form is very long, but it is designed to cope with many student situations and a variety of courses. If you are having problems using this form, please e-mail the school course administrator, Ms Maureen Austin.
