IMG Annual Xmas Lunch on Monday 15th December 2008
Note: Food will be subsidised but not drinks. Therefore the only costs to invitees are drinks. The post lunch tour of the brewery does include a free tasting session at the end of the tour, so the advice is not to drink too heavily during lunch or you will not leave room for beer at the end of the day. Post tour there are very options, including a walk along the Thames toward Barnes and another recommended pub.
Stuart has made the reservations and JKC has paid a £75 deposit.
The IMG Annual Xmas Lunch for 2008 will take place at the
Mawson Arms,
Chiswick. This pub is next door to the famous
Fuller's brewery,
which is now London's sole brewery. After the lunch,
a tour of the brewery
is planned for those interested.

It is suggested that we all meet on the 3rd floor in UCL chemistry at around
11:15. Don't be late as it takes time to get to Chicwick from here!
We will depart here 11:30 promptly and, assuming that the tube is
functioning normally, we will take the Victoria Line from Euston to Victoria
followed by the District Line to Turnham Green (zone 2). There is then a
short walk to the pub (see Travel below).
Note that we have reserved lunch from about 12:30, though we can arrive
a bit before or very shortly after.
