Subj:	IMG Outing tomorrow

Dear New Age IMG travellers,

Regarding the travel arrangements for tomorrow, the journey starts 7.00
for 7.30 pm, so I guess that drinks at first.

Regarding getting there, I would suggest either Liverpool Street station
to Braintree or to Whitham and take a taxi to the Colne Valley Railway,
Yeldham Road, Castle Hedingham, Essex CO9 3DZ (tel:01787-461174).

Braintree is closer (about 7 miles) so a cheaper taxi ride but the train
journey takes longer.  I would suggest the 16.32 from Liverpool Street
arriving at Braintree at 17.35 leaving loads of time, but the later
departure, 17.32 arriving 18.35 should also do it with less margin for
error.

Alternatively Witham (sorry first spelling with 2 h's was wrong) is about
14 miles from the Colne Valley Railway, so slightly more expensive taxi
ride, and departures from Liverpool Street are 17.15 arriving 17.55,
and 17.32 arriving 18.19 if you miss the former.

If there are real problems, my mobile will be on (09564-77785) and in
desparation I can always come and find you in my car!

For going back, the earliest you can get off the train is around 9.30pm,
though its usual to stay on until gone 10.00pm.  For those travelling
back from around 10.00 Sally has booked 2 taxis for 10.00 to Witham to
catch the 22.42 getting to Liverpool street at 23.35, though Jeremy and
I will be in our cars and can take 4 people back into London, or ferry
to Witham/Braintree at an earlier time if necessary.  Within limits we
can discuss departure arrangements on the train.

Keep receipts if you want to reclaim travel expenses.
