The 3, 4, 3′, 4′-tetrachlorospirane molecule in which all of the chiral carbons are equivalent possesses 3 twofold rotation axes, which are mutually perpendicular to each other. Views down two of these axes are shown, but the view down the long third twofold axis was not considered useful (and is therefore not shown).
The point-group symmetry for this molecule is given the crystallographic symbol 2 2 2.
