This trisoxalatochromium (III) anion is chiral. It has a single threefold rotation axis with 3 twofold rotation axes perpendicular to the main axis.
The point-group symmetry for this molecule is given the crystallographic symbol 3 2. (This should not be confused with the cubic crystallographic point group 2 3, which possesses four threefold axes.)
