The figure below shows the diffraction data of a sample of sodium dichloroisocyanurate stored under conditions of high humidity.

Purple tick marks indicated the reflection positions of the stable hydrate of sodium dichloroisocyanurate, while green tick marks indicated the reflection positions of sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate, indexed in terms of an orthorhombic unit cell. With such diffraction data, great care must be taken concerning peak intensities since these are changing during the time scale of the data acquisition.
